Metromix: What kind of a doctor are you?
Dr. Smith: A chiropractor.

Do you ever do any chiropracting on Owen?
Absolutely. I do it regularly – on racehorses and dogs. Uh-huh.

And humans?
And humans. I’m kind of retired from humans, though.

Which are easier to treat – the animals or the humans?
Animals by far, because they don’t lock up on you when you go to adjust them. When you go to manipulate them, they’re relaxed. Humans see it coming, so they get tight. They respond very, very well.

Has Owen ever won any competitions?
Oh yes, He has over 50 best of breeds. He has multiple group placements, and he got an award of merit here at the Garden last year.

So we are expecting big things?
Well, you never know at the Garden, it’s always kind of a crapshoot.
