Maggie: It’s Champion Sisco Paddy Whack Brat.

Why do they have such long names? Is it a luck thing?
It depends. You can’t have the same name that was ever given before. They’re like horses – it can’t be the same name.

Where are you from?
The dog’s from Bakersfield CA, and we’re from Fresno CA. This is not our own, this is a dog we are showing for some of our clients.

And you bring it all the way out here without the owners? You take it to sleep in your hotel?
Yeah. It’s an experience.

Do you ever have discipline issues with her, because she’s not yours?
Oh yes. They are children. They are just like teenagers, especially when they are young. But poodles are so smart. They learn real quick.

They learn how to sneak out of the hotel at night?
[Laughs.] Yeah. They go to all the late-night clubs.
