Miss Indigo Blue
Hometown: Seattle
Known for her raucous “Wild Cherry” routine (named for the Bourbon Street 1950s burlesque of the same name), Miss Indigo Blue’s dance style combines classic elegance and grace, with a poke-in-the-eye sense of humor. One glance and you’re lured into her self-described “luscious lap of her luxurious lair of laughter, teeming with longing, tempting you to linger, and pulling your finger!" Lots of pelvic bumps, tassel twirling, multiple reveals (with four pairs of gloves), and hilarious comic renderings of Wonder Woman, Holly Golightly, and even elephants gives this lady a style all her own. Oh, and she’s also the headmistress and founder of Seattle's Academy of Burlesque, the nation's first school for the Burlesque Arts.
