The voluptuous vixen Amber Ray got her start 12 years ago as a stripper at a gentlemen's club: "I thought it was going to be all rhinestones, fishnets, furs and luxurious stage fantasies, only to have the rude awakening it wasn't at all what I had expected," she says. Today she mixes high-drama drag queen style with classic burlesque from previous 20th-century decades. She's known for her sexy singing style, and in a single night may incorporate several detailed costume, wig and makeup changes into her performance.
