One more year come and gone, and all you have to show for it is another tattoo of a Chinese character and a new personal jelly doughnut-eating record. And you don’t even like jelly doughnuts.

Since we don’t want you to let 2008 slip by the way you let 2007—last year’s elliptical machine splurge is not a dirty clothes hamper!—we’ve developed a list of stylish resolutions, certain to make a new you out of the new year.

So read up, take note and get resolving. Because settling for a tattoo of a jelly doughnut is just not an option we can condone.
