It happens every summer. There we are innocently trying to score a table at The Cheesecake Factory at Harborplace contemplating the merits of ordering a whole rocky road cheesecake when we look up from this reverie to discover that we are not alone. Suddenly, we are very much not alone. The photo opp-crazed, funny accent-having, non-Baltimoreans have descended in droves. We know this is an annual occurrence, but, somehow, it still shocks us every year: People are coming to Baltimore for vacation? There's touristy stuff to do in Charm City? Who knew? Well, we did, sort of. This year, instead of making for the peace and quiet of the 'burbs, we've opted to embrace this tradition and become tourists in our own town. Here's how:
