1534 One Year Anniversary Party
Underground (literally!) speakeasy-style newcomer, 1534 celebrated its one-year anniversary last night and Metromix dropped by to check out the scene at the bash. The vintage airline themed soiree was fueled by classic-with-a-twist "Aviation" cocktails and absinthe-laced Pilot Punch, which slowly but surely developed into a bartenders-gone-wild scene (a reality series we will be sure to pitch to the networks).
There was some saucy globally-motifed burlesque curated by Miss Calamity Chang. And near the end of the evening, a classic New York bar brawl broke out after a couple of guests made a few too many trips to the punch bowl. It's nice to know that as fancy as New York nightlife gets, there is still plenty of booze-fueled gritty shenanigans to be found at the end of the night.
