2010 Atlantic Antic
One of New York's largest street festivals, Brooklyn's Atlantic Antic kicked off Sunday with over 600 craft and food vendors, plus live performances by ARMS (outside the Roebling Inn) and Les Sans Culottes (outside Last Exit). Stretching approximately one mile along 10 blocks of Atlantic Avenue, from Hicks Street to Fourth Avenue, the Antic has been going strong for 36 years. We swung by to shoot the scene and browse some of our favorite artisan items (no tube socks!), from Ruby Zaar's hand-tooled leather belts and scarves to Rockstar Revolution's punk rock toddler and adult T-shirts. Even gourmet purveyor Sahadi himself was in the house!
