On Broadway and Off, theater burst with so much vitality, plenty of great shows just missed the cut. Only one musical (sorry “Follies”), no Shakespeare (too bad, “Cymbeline”), and no monologues (if only we had a dozen, Mike Daisey). The greatest absence, however, is phenomenal all-ages theater. You can still see “War Horse” onstage, while Broadway will host “Peter and the Starcatcher” this spring. So what makes our Top Ten? Read on!
