Nestled in a hidden boîte on N. 9th Street in Williamsburg, on a block that is eerily empty at night with the shells of luxe condos to come and feral cats wandering the sidewalks, is a cozy little club called Sugarland. And last night at Sugarland the beats were thumping, the smoke machines were pumping, the drag queens were fabulous and there was laser-powered dancing at Lee Chappell's newest party, Boy500. With lots of nooks and crannies for cuddling, $3 PBR's and plastic guitar-breaking performances from JJ Japanime, Brittany Campbell and Misty Meaner and The Faggoteers, there was something for everyone.
