New Year's Eve is considered amateur night for the real party pros out there, and so what better for the discerning and sophisticated party-goer than to attend a New Year's EVE Eve party? Nothing we say. The lovely and elegant folks of Dances of Vice threw a lovely and elegant party at the posh Players Club last night to ring in the New Year a little early. An evening of fancy dress, champagne cocktails and a celebration of good old fashioned dancing (swing, tango, ragtime, you name it, they played it). Serenaded by JC Hopkins' Biggish Band, Gelber & Manning and Les Hot Club, and a host of sizzling guest vocalists and gorgeous burlesque beauties, the well heeled guests danced until the wee hours. Shien Lee, the Dances of Vice hostess with the mostest, has the good time formula down pat. Dances of Vice will be at the Ace Hotel on January 29th next time, put your dancing shoes on and join the fun.--Gabi Porter
