It's a good thing that these Down & Derby Roller Discos keep happening, or we'd be concerned that American Apparel would be perpetually overstocked in gold lame bootie shorts and leggings and tube tops! Last night girls and boys put on their rollerskates and headed underground to Good Units at the Hudson Hotel for the return of the silly fun party on wheels.
Putting beer and skates together is a volatile combo and there were a few calls to 911 for twisted ankles and other Skating While Intoxicated (SWI) infractions requiring medical assistance. But the guy who won the limbo contest stayed golden all the way into the wee hours while he zipped around and around and around the room with his limbo champ's belt.
