DR!P | The Grace Hotel
We've told you before, and we'll tell you again, if you want to know what you should be doing on any given night, where the party's at, just ask Lee Chappell what he's up to. Last night marked the return of Glammy Award winning party DR!P at Times Square's Grace Hotel. The mostly naked crowd stood in line to get to the pool as shocked European tourists arrived for late-night check-ins--we say, "Welcome to New York!"
In the middle of an ice storm, NYC's most fabulous stripped off their coats and pulled up their swimming trunks and sipped on cocktails poolside, or even better ordered their drinks from the bar IN the pool. Drag queens splashed the room in sequins and everyone stuck their best poses for the camera. With a disco friendly soundtrack provided by DJ Scotty Rox, Mr. Rox made sure that our ear drums were drenched with Kelis, Robyn and Guetta all night long.
