One of Europe's most innovative designers opens his flagship shop with vodka, chic celebrators and live tunes
Downtown fashion got a bit more interesting last night, as Danish artist-musician-fashion designer Henrik Vibskov celebrated the opening of his new flagship store in SoHo. Throngs of stylish well-wishers packed the sidewalk outside the new Broome Street boutique, while those lucky enough to get inside were treated to Absolut "Wild Tea" cocktails and a first look at fresh fashions by one of Europe's most innovative designers. DJ Justin Miller of DFA Records started the evening off with a set as cool as the crowd. Later, party-goers grooved to live music by Vibskov and jazz musician Mikkel Hess before heading out into the New York night. Were you snapped? -- Kathleen Muldoon
