Idiotarod 2010
The annual Idiotarod got off to a frigid start this weekend, with artic winds and temperatures in the low teens. But that didn't stop the hard-core shopping-cart racers from donning crazy outfits that were little more than leotards with fishnet stockings.
Team Fakework had possibly the most useful cart customization, a flame ring for roasting marshmallows and warming your hands. No surprise these crafty kids took home the Best in Show prize. Top costume awards went to the life-size chess piece team and the Las Vegas-themed The Strip.
