Subway riders take off their pants in the annual bottomless commute
Seeing someone on the subway without pants might not be totally out of the realm of normalcy, but what about hundreds of bottomless commuters? This past Sunday, those who wished to ride the subway sans leggings (but still in good taste) met up in groups at various locations around NYC, including Union Square...and then hit trains for some casual, skin-to-the-air subway riding. The ride, organized by the prank collective Improv Everywhere (note: more reporting of No Pants day available on their site), has spread its mirth to other cities, but we like to think semi-nudity on the subway is really a New York thing at heart.
