Oh Snap!
After a day of sprinkling fairy dust all over NYC at Fairycon, the Kostume Kult (partnering with The Philadelphia Experiment) continued the party and took over the Times Square Arts Center for an all-night fairy-winged bash in a re-purposed strip joint. Pixies, elves, fairies and other sparkling mystical creatures danced all night to a soundtrack provided by a rotating cast of DJs and performance artists. Forgot your fairy costume at home? No problems, fairy makeovers were available for those in need of more glittery body paint. A community of inspired adventurers, suspended their disbelief, followed the twinkling lights and pretended for one night that Burning Man hadn't ended at the beginning of September. —Gabi Porter
