"Sissy bounce" is the gender-bending, trans-rap movement that originated in New Orleans. It's booty-shakin' fun, even if it's (right now) little more than a tiny, tiny niche of the hip-hop community. But if somebody's going to overcome the stigma of gay rappers and become the face (or whatever) of the scene, it's Big Freedia (already subject of a New York Times profile), who brought the flamboyance to P.S.1 on Saturday for another sweaty Warm-Up session.
