Dances of Vice took a trip back to the fifties last night with a '50s rockabilly-themed Jungle Rock bash uptown. The costume crazed dance enthusiasts stormed Room Fifty5 at the Dream Hotel in their leopard print finest. The less proficient got a swing lesson from Va Va Voon early in the evening, and we even caught the bouncers getting in on the action.
As the voodoo jungle heated up, the boys from Industrial Susquehanna Tool & Die Co fed the frenzy with their smokin' hot rockabilly licks. Between sets of non-stop dancing, burlesque babes Misty Lux and The Flying Fox kept the crowd happy with palm fronds and skin. Midway through the night four Taiwanese TV personalities dropped in at the party dressed as furry jungle creatures. Confused party goers shrugged and invited them to dance. MORE INFO
