Shane Proctor
New York isn't usually associated with bull riding, but the Professional Bull Riders NYC Invitational (PBR!) rode into town this weekend and transformed MSG into a verified wild west.
What began in 1992 with 20 professional bull riders has mushroomed into PBR Inc., which has four tours and over 100 annual events with prize money totaling over 10 million dollars a few years ago.
This weekend's competition saw Shane Proctor win the three-day event with Brian Kanter shining bright in round two. The reigning world champion Kody Lostroh was less lucky and got bucked off all weekend. The rodeo clown Flint Rasmussen kept the crowd in stitches, while Orville Davis played tunes for the official after-party at Hill Country. Metromix moseyed down to the ring each day to shoot the rambunctious event and the rowdy after-party.
