Riesling is what everybody is drinking this summer. Even on boats!
Riesling, that crisp white wine everybody is swilling these hot July evenings, was celebrated with a raucous bash presented by the Wines of Germany Summer of Riesling. Hearth’s rock and roll sommelier Paul Grieco hosted the event, soundtracked by bands aboard a boat circling the East River. Yes, many in the NYC wine business—and fans of Grieco throw-downs—pretty much ate Riesling for dinner last night.
