Michael Arenella toasts Halloween with a spooky silent film soiree
Michael Arenella and the Dreamland Orchestra teamed up with Bootlegger Vodka again last night for a winning Halloween combo for the vintage set at The Silent Scream in a midtown penthouse loft. Celebrating the spookier side of the silent film era, guests "noired" it up with nods to silver screen sirens, lots of white tuxedos, gangsters with their molls, and beyond.
Our unofficial "most creative" award goes to the grey scale Gilda channeling black-and-white Rita Hayworth with her dapper grey scale date. And the "most elegant" award (we're disqualifying Mr. Arenella for being the host) goes to a couple of scintillating vampires who steamed up the late-night dancefloor. The evening featured burlesque perfomances from Main Attraction channeling Josephine Baker, funny lady Grace Gotham and Medianoche.
