Oh Snap!
Groupon and Single and the City joined forces Tuesday to try and break the Guiness World Record for the largest speed dating event. New York singles descended on Slate to tempt fate, get their love tarot cards read and meet that special someone. Heaven for some, hell for others, Metromix swung by to shoot the high energy party. The event drew a ton of speed daters, but the world record number of 313 was not broken. Despite this, love connections were still made. Up next? Hopefully, the world's largest engagement party.
