Zombiecon
Zombiecon 2011 kicked off on the streets of Manhattan this year with some pre-partying at the West Village's The Slaughtered Lamb, where people put on all their needed make-up and gore. From there, Zombies marched to Washington Square Park and mingled with the Occupy Wall Street protesters, followed by a quick detour at Halloween Adventure—much to the chagrin of regular customers--and some needed refueling at Forum Bar. Next stop landed the Zombies in Union Square where love was in the walking dead air thanks to a planned marriage proposal in the thick of the crowd (see photo 95!). After 14th Street, Zombies pushed on to Times Square and beyond.
