This melancholy rock musical is ready for Broadway after prep runs in DC and Off-Broadway. Despite its use of rock music, its themes sound more like Sondheim – an ordinary group of folks, here a suburban family – while Alice Ripley's turn as a bipolar mother is already getting Tony buzz.
