Neighborhood Guide: Soho
(Credit: Eliazar/flickr)
Once an artist’s enclave in the '60s, with bohemian squatters inhabiting the lofts on Broadway, SoHo has now become New York’s most-fabulous hood (sorry West Village). Destination stores and restaurants like Prada and Balthazar make Soho an upscale tourists dream, with well-scrubbed visitors from Dusseldorf and Dallas clogging the narrow sidewalks.
