Mecox Beach
Although this beach is open to anyone willing to buy a $15 day pass, you won’t be seeing throngs of working class people here, as Dune Road is mostly a quiet and wealthy stretch. The usual crowd is made up of families or young adults that live nearby, ironically in houses that tend to have beaches of their own. But this spot is worth a trip if you’re anywhere nearby, as you get great facilities (showers, bathrooms, volleyball courts, snack carts and a sun deck) as well as a breathtaking view of the ocean.
