Quentin Tarantino has brought two R&B legends back from the dead - not on screen, but on the soundtrack to his upcoming film Django Unchained, which will feature a cut pairing godfather of soul James Brown with hip-hop icon Tupac Shakur. The title is Unchained (The Payback/Untouchable).

The Django soundtrack also will feature new music from Rick Ross, John Legend and Ennio Morricone, and vocals and production by Jamie Foxx, who stars in the Western along with Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz, Kerry Washington and Samuel L. Jackson. Some older songs will be included as well, among them Jim Croce's I Got a Name.

The soundtrack will be available Dec. 18, one week before the film's scheduled release.
