Liar Liar (1997)
Credit:Melinda Sue Gordon/ Universal Pictures
Verdict: Mid point
The proof: Skeezy lawyer Fletcher Reede loses the ability to lie after his son makes a magical birthday wish to curb his dad's fibbing. Packed with a plethora of unfunny situations, many involving, natch, farts and/or boobs. “Liar Liar,” showed that even as Carrey's shtick begun to get stale, he could still bring in boatloads of moviegoers' money.
