2007 was such a great year for movies that we're sorry to see it go. But at least we've got the sweet anticipation of another 12 months of movie magic to lose ourselves in.

One thing we like already: 2008 promises a few familiar faces—Indiana Jones, Batman, Bond and Harry Potter—but surprisingly fewer sequels than '07.

Plus, some old favorites from the small screen make the jump from living rooms to multiplexes; Will Smith, Will Ferrell, Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston and Leonardo DiCaprio all have multiple movies on deck; and some of last year's best breakout stars—Seth Rogen, Michael Cera, Shia LaBeouf—return in high profile projects.
