Gene Kelly's most memorable performance in a storied career is celebrated in this lavish set. The digitally restored film, which Kelly co-directed (with Stanley Donen), co-wrote and choreographed, also starred Donald O'Connor, Debbie Reynolds, Rita Moreno and Cyd Charisse. Kelly's umbrella-twirling performance of the title song while splashing around in the rain is one of Hollywood's iconic images. Along with the film, extras include an all-new documentary, 'Singin' in the Rain: Raining on a New Generation;' commentary by Donen, Reynolds, O'Connor, Charisse and others.
