Oscar-nominated filmmaker Liz Garbus gives HBO an exclusive documentary special on the mother who was involved in one of the most tragic vehicle accidents in New York State history. Coming back from a camping trip in upstate New York, Diane Schuler was driving on the wrong side of the Taconic State Parkway and crashed into a SUV, killing herself and seven other people, including her daughter and three nieces. Garbus documents interviews and never-before-heard of witnesses that dig deeper into what went wrong that fateful day.
