Aldean, Bentley, Bryan to headline Faster Horses fest
JASON ALDEAN: Aldean got three Grammy nominations last year, plus three more at the Country Music Association Awards, including entertainer of the year. His 'Night Train' album just missed Grammy's Sept. 30 cutoff, but he wasn't nominated for No. 1 country singles 'Fly Over States' or 'Take a Little Ride.' Henry Ford used to say that if he had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses.

But country music fans around Brooklyn, Mich., should get plenty of what they want, as Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley and Luke Bryan headline the first-ever Faster Horses Festival.

The three-day camping festival - which also will feature Kix Brooks, Chris Young, Colt Ford, Thompson Square and Jerrod Niemann - will take place July 19-21 in a field near the southern Michigan town, a hotspot for regional tourists. The festival will feature between 40 and 50 acts, two stages and nine campgrounds. Live Nation's Brian O'Connell, who put on last year's Watershed Festival in Washington state, is producing Faster Horses.

Tickets go on sale Feb. 25.
