Ask Emmy and Tony award winner Kristin Chenoweth about her influences and she'll say Julie Andrews - and Dolly Parton.

The original Glinda in Wicked released a country album last year and plans to make a second country album in the future, she said during a conference call leading up to her co-hosting appearance with Trace Adkins on the American Country Awards in Las Vegas tonight.

"I just didn't feel like I got done with that first album. I thought it was a really good start," she said. "There's gonna be a part two there for sure."

This is the second year in a row Chenoweth will host the American Country Awards with Adkins.

"Last year what was so great, it was two-fold: the people I had been listening to on the radio that I admire, and the second part is working with Trace," she said. "I just flat-out adore him."

She hinted that they'll aim to upstage their fun from last year (she appeared strapped to Adkins in a Baby Bjorn, for example).

"We just don't want to screw up live," she joked. "That's going to be the biggest challenge. But also one that I love. I look at it as live theater."

The American Country Awards air live at 8 p.m. Eastern tonight on Fox. Performers include Rascal Flatts, Kip Moore,Jake Owen, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan and Little Big Town.
