While watching the documentary Sound City, I decided that Stevie Nicks is the best female rock 'n' roll singer of all time.

Some may disagree and put Janis up there (and Patti Smith comes close!), but I believe Stevie has ruled this field for decades. Another new documentary, In Your Dreams, offers an intimate look at Nicks' process and life outside the studio while she worked on her 2011 solo record with Dave Stewart.

Stewart co-produced and co-directed the flick, which screens in 50 cities April 2. (She kicks off a tour with Fleetwood Mac April 4.)

Below is a trailer, which teases cameos by Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood and Reese Witherspoon, of all people. (Turns out Nicks met Reese's mother on a plane.) For a complete list of cities and to purchase tickets for the screening, head to inyourdreamsmovie.com.
