The music of the 'Street'

Sesame Street has been getting top-flight musical talent to sing kid-friendly parodies of their biggest hits for decades, so there's lots of luminosity on its new Singing With the Stars DVD. Songs range from R.E.M.'s Furry Happy People to Feist's 1234 ("monsters walkin' 'cross my floor") to Will.i.am's Emmy-winning What I Am. Moms who'll wind up watching this every day may appreciate the heavy dose of '90s flashbacks from the likes of Destiny's Child, N*Sync and Hootie & the Blowfish, too. — Mansfield
