Thompson Square will release its second album in March, and the country duo's current single is providing a solid lead-in.
The husband-and-wife team of Keifer and Shawna Thompson, which won top vocal duo honors from both the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association in 2012, will release Just Feels Good on March 26.
If I Didn't Have You, the album's lead single, is No. 18 on USA TODAY's country airplay chart and has climbed the chart faster than any other single in the duo's career. The duo wrote the song with Jason Sellers and Paul Jenkins, who also collaborated on the 2012 Thompson Square hit I Got You. Sellers and Jenkins also were two of the writers of Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson's crossover smash Don't You Wanna Stay.
Thompson Square filmed the video for If I Didn't Have You Wednesday in Nashville, then started its tour with Luke Bryan on Thursday.
New Voice, the four-man production team that helmed the duo's 2011 debut, also produced Just Feels Good.
Thompson Square's hits include the platinum-selling single Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not, I Got You and Glass.
