Video: Alkaline Trio's 'I Wanna Be A Warhol'
A screen shot from the new Alkaline Trio video, 'I Wanna Be A Warhol.'

Admittedly, I don't know much about Alkaline Trio, aside from the fact that the pop-punk band has been around since the '90s and has managed to retain many of its fans since then.

I do know something about Andy Warhol, however, so when I heard the group had released a song called I Wanna Be A Warhol, I had to check it out.

"I wanna be a Warhol, displayed on your wall," the band sings. "Hung up there, staring back at you."

The new video doesn't show any Andy works per se, but it does feature images of Marilyn Monroe and tomato soup cans, along with a scantily clad Milla Jovovich.

Check it out:

It's a cute song, although I'm sure the guys would prefer I use a different adjective. Alkaline Trio's new record, My Shame Is True, arrives April 2 on Heart & Skull/Epitaph.
