If "Weird Al" Yankovic auditioned to be in my band, it would be a no-brainer.
Trying out for The Postal Service, however, is a different story. Today Funny or Die posted a cute video that features a bunch of well-known performers vying for Ben Gibbard's role in the indie band.
The clip is directed by Tom Scharpling and features appearances by Yankovic, Aimee Mann, Moby, Duff McKagan, Marc Maron and others.
Note the video contains some spicy language:
The Postal Service reissues its 2003 album, Give Up, April 9. A tour kicks off April 9 in Reno.
