Radiohead
August 8, 2008
8:30 p.m. / Blue Comet Stage
In the most anticipated set of the day, Radiohead performed a slightly mellower set than past shows, performing their latest "In Rainbows" nearly in its entirety while paying less attention to back classics "The Bends" and "OK Computer." Despite the serious and sometimes dour themes (including a rare performance of "Cymbal Rush" off vocalist Thom Yorke's solo album), the band often looked like they were having more fun than the audience, with Yorke's spastic, jerky dancing on display in "Idiotheque" and "The Gloaming" and jocular barking at guitarist Johnny Greenwood before "Videotape." —Jason Newman
