Hard to believe it’s only been a year since the Fool’s Gold label sprang into existence. Conceived by DJs Nick Catchdubs and A-Trak, the dance and rap collective has blown up big on the international scene. The whole family—some of them actually are related—got together for a late-night throw-down at Webster Hall to celebrate their one-year anniversary and bless the CMJ crowd with some of the freshest beats and rhymes being made today. Meanwhile, we went backstage to check in with these forward-thinking trackmasters.
