Why'd you call your label Fool's Gold?
Nick Catchdubs and I had a laundry list of names and we just picked the best one.

What were some of the others?
Knockington. Pretty Penny. A lot of them were terrible. One night I was brainstorming with my girlfriend Melisa, who is Kid Sister, and she came up with Fool's Gold. She was telling someone a story about how her parents would take her and her brother panning for fool's gold in Wisconsin on a family vacation or something.

Sounds like a great vacation. "Hey kids! Let's go dig in a river for something that's not valuable."
Yeah! I liked it but my brother didn't because he didn't know what fool's gold was. So then I asked Kanye West and he said, "Yeah, that's it! You gotta go with that." So I went back to my brother and told him Kanye said he was wrong.
