Do you always drink whiskey before shows?
Being the singer fucking sucks because there are different rules we have to live by. I can’t drink carbonated drinks onstage because I get the hiccups and I can’t eat anything. It’s a fucking hassle.    

Has CMJ lost some of its luster this year?
CMJ is cold and windy and everything seems too far apart. I haven’t really been in the CMJ spirit this year, to be perfectly honest. We are going to England tomorrow, so I guess we are focused on other things. We’re excited about that.
