It seemed like just yesterday we were watching 15-year-old Alain Macklovitch destroy turntables to become the youngest-ever winner of the DMC Championship, the Nobel Prize of turntablism. Having long conquered that discipline, the prolific deejay has released a series of mixes, toured the world with Kanye West, set up the Fool's Gold label and established himself as a sought-after headlining deejay. A-Trak sets are rooted in hip-hop, but really—dude goes off script with anything that's danceable. With DJ Mehdi.
