So your album, “Maths + English,” is coming out on Def Jux soon. What’s the title refer to?
Basically, the music, the beats, the bars is maths, and the lyrics, the words, is English. It’s as simple as that.

Why did you pick Def Jux to put the album out over here?
[Def Jux head] El-P has a real understanding of where I need to be in America.

Are you a little worried that your music doesn’t translate so well for Americans?
I feel like Americans aren’t into getting anything outside of America. Why would you though? You might as well sell Chinese to the Chinese.
