"It's serendipity when you get light, framing and expression all going for you at once. I feel like the green light in this photo is the exact color of 'Goo,' the famous Sonic Youth album. It's somehow totally appropriate. I also enjoyed when Thurston jumped into the photo pit and used photographers to reverb grind on. He went nuts down there, like a man posessed."
