Opened on October 10, 1976, Giants Stadium is the only stadium in the country to house two NFL teams (Giants, Jets), but it is also one of the countries leading concert facilities. Bands and artists as diverse as Bruce Springsteen, Grateful Dead, The Rolling Stones, Depeche Mode, Green Day, and Bon Jovi have taken the stage for around 76,000 fans. The stadium also hosts frequent soccer matches and many college football games.
