Chromeo is proof that Arabs and Jews can get along. Well, at least this duo can. Dave 1 and P-Thugg rode the ‘80s wave a few years back with “Needy Girl,” a strangely compelling and endlessly listenable bit of talk box-laden ‘80s schmaltz. Sure, it felt ironic but dammit if it didn’t make us nod our heads. Last year’s “Fancy Footwork” threw some disco in the mix so to boil it down, these guys like any genre that is fun and will make you dance. Can’t argue with that. Saturday, August 9.
