All Points West Festival preview

De Novo Dahl

Nashville’s De Novo Dahl has many a rainbow on their MySpace page. That says more than anything we could possibly put into words. But we’ll try. Picture Arcade Fire dropping an ecstasy pill with Polyphonic Spree and recording the results. Yep, it’s pretty happy music and appropriate for a (hopefully) sunny summer outdoors festival. Past live shows have included an ice-cream social, a beach party with free admission to anyone in bathing suits, and a show involving free pasta and the bandmates dressed as cowboys. We’re curious what they’ll pull out for this show. Sunday, August 10.
