Underworld
In one of the most anticipated performances of the festival, Karl Hyde and Rick Smith have, for years, been on the forefront of an ever-changing dance music scene. Now celebrating their 20th anniversary, the duo has been one of the few groups to survive the virtual bloodletting that befell so many dance music kingpins since the beginning of the decade. The festival is lacking a bit on the dance music front, but if you have to pick only a few acts to bring in, go for the legends that are still doing it big. This is a great chance for anyone who only knows “the Trainspotting song” to get familiar. Friday, August 8.
